Walter “Jeff” Osenbaugh, Jr, .49, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2025, in his home.
Born December 12, 1975, in Fulda, Germany, he was the son of Walter J. and Eliza E. (Wood) Osenbaugh of Greencastle.
While growing up, Jeff and his family lived in Kitzing, Germany, Fulda, Germany and San Antonio, TX. He graduated from high school at Greencastle Antrim High School with the class of 1995. He was employed as a diesel mechanic and refrigeration specialist at Hoffman Transport in Greencastle, PA.
Jeff enjoyed listening to music, working on cars and finding a way to make everyone around him laugh and he gave the best hugs. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching over his parent’s beloved dog, “Gracie”.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Melissa Twine Osenbaugh, one son, Colton U. Osenbaugh of Greencastle, one sister, Jodi E. Acosta of Greencastle and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Staci L. McLamore and Carli J. Osenbaugh.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, May 23, 2025, in Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington St. Greencastle, PA, with Pastor Gary Zook officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the funeral home.
