Ms. Velma Rovirda Buttry, 90, of Hagerstown, died Saturday evening, October 13, 2018, at Doey’s House, Hagerstown.
Born May 5, 1928, in Laytonsville, she was a daughter of the late Grant Willard and Linnie Belle Seals Buttry.
She was a member of the Church of God.
In addition to four sons and a daughter, Ms. Buttry is survived by sisters Madge M. Lowe of Westover, and B. Bernice Reed of Hagerstown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Ollie Mae Shrewsberry.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown is handling the arrangements. There will not be visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be Wednesday, October 17, 11:00 AM at Smithsburg Cemetery, West Water Street, Smithsburg. Rev. A. Paul Harne will officiate.
