Mrs. Vedeania Beverly “Dee” Schlotterbeck Thomas, 75, of Hagerstown, died Satuday, February 17, 2018, at her residence. She was the wife of Charles Franklin Thomas, her husband of 49 years.
Born September 18, 1942, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late John William and Helen Vadia Winters Schlotterbeck.
Dee worked with Caldwell Manufacturing Company, Williamsport.
Surviving, besides her husband are her children, Dwayne L. Schlotterbeck and wife Robin of Hancock, and Kimberly K. and Rafe A. Thomas, both of Hagerstown; fourteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren; and siblings, Gerald L. Schlotterbeck, Mary A. Brown, and Shelia K. Nuse, all of Hagerstown.
Besides her parents, Dee was preceded in death by siblings Herbert and Michael Schlotterbeck, Margaret Eichelberger, and Janice Minnich.
The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, on Thursday, February 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday, February 23, at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Eric L. Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
