Thomas Brian “Tom” Poole, age 59, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Mercy House in Chambersburg, PA. Born August 2, 1964, in Baltimore, MD he was the son of Charlotte “Pat” Bealer Poole and the late Russell Leroy Poole.
Tom was a 1986 graduate of Franklin Pierce University. He worked as computer software engineer. In addition to his mother, Tom is survived by numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 11 AM in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA, where Pastor Fred Keener will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment will be private in Lorraine Park Cemetery, Woodlawn, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Rd., Waynesboro, PA 17268.
