Teresa M. Leevy, 63, of St. Thomas, PA passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in her home surrounded by her family. Born October 19, 1961 in Chambersburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Edward “Bud” and Dorothy (Ford) Kauffman.
Family was the most important thing to Teresa. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Grant E. “Gene” Leevy who she married July 31, 1978; three children, Brian Leevy of McConnellsburg, PA, Jennifer Gilbert (Melvin) of Chambersburg, PA, Derrick Leevy of St. Thomas, PA; six grandchildren, Melvin, III, Edward, Austin, Andrew, Madisyn, Emily, and Destiney; three siblings, Denny Kauffman of Chambersburg, Rick Kauffman of Ft. Loudon, PA, and Tina Jones of Boonsboro, MD; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor David Hann officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening in the funeral home as well as one hour prior to the service Wednesday morning in the funeral home.
