Steven Mark Pfeiffer, 55, of Hagerstown, died Sunday morning March 12, 2017 at his residence. He was the husband of Dorothy K. Moser Pfeiffer.
Born March 1, 1962, at South Ruislip Air Station, England, he was a son of the late Ramon Charles and Jeanette Iris Pryor Pfeiffer Douros. He attended Congressional School of Falls Church, Virginia; and graduated from the University of Maryland.
Steven was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp who served in Beirut.
He retired from Cardinal Trucking Company as a truck driver with 35 years of service.
Steve was also a Lifetime Member of Boys Scouts of America; an avid billiard player and who attended National exhibitions in Las Vegas, Nevada; and enjoyed reading, martial arts, sports and spending time with family and friends.
He was of the protestant faith.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Bradford and Thomas Fox, Natasha K. Thomas and husband Robert, III and Heather A. Ray and husband Steve all of Hagerstown; and his grandchildren Alexandra, Nicholas, Elijah, Titus and Vivian.
Steven is also survived by his brother Robert Pfeiffer and wife Joan of Florida; step brother Robert Douros of Eldersburg; brother-in-law Reggie Cosens and wife Val; and sister-in-law Jackie Nurnberger and husband Scot; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Steven is preceded in death by his brother-in-law David T. Clopper.
The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown, on Friday, March 17, beginning at 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM. Rev. G. Julia Bringham will officiate. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown.
