Mr. Steven P. “Steve” Brown, 40, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 1, 2026 in Akron, OH, while traveling for work.

Above all else, he was a hard-working man, a great father and husband to be, and an even greater friend. He was known for his loving and helpful personality, always willing to give someone the shirt off his back if they needed it.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving fiancé, Lauren Whealton; his four children, Dakota, Kaden, Tiana, and Trenton; three stepchildren, Annalyse, Abigail, and Zeva; one special grandchild on the way; one stepbrother, Jason Martin; and one half-brother, Phoenix Jenkins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and one infant brother, Anthony Michael Brown.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
