Mrs. Shirley Ann (Fink) Beamer, 82, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in her home.
Born September 21, 1943 in York, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry E. Fink and Blanche L. (Aldinger) Fink.
Shirley was a graduate of York Central High School with the Class of 1962. Her family home was in Pleasureville, PA. She married her husband, Mr. Randall P. “Randy” Beamer in June 1963. She went to housekeeping moving to her present residence in Waynesboro in 1966.
She was employed as a janitor at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waynesboro for 13 years, then for Waynesboro School District at Hooverville Elementary School for 2 years and as a housekeeper at Hearthstone Retirement Home in Waynesboro for 5 years. Prior to her retirement in 2003, Shirley worked as a private care giver for 7 years.
She was a member of Otterbein Church, Waynesboro.
She enjoyed camping, gardening and motorcycle riding.
In addition to her husband, Shirley is survived by two sons, Scott Eugene Beamer of Greencastle, PA and Eric Milton Beamer of Waynesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roger E. Fink of Newberry, PA.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 17, 2026 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro with Pastor John Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Tuesday morning, in the funeral home.
