Mrs. Shirley A. (Gladhill) Kuhn, 87, a lifelong resident of Cascade and Highfield, MD, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Creekside Center, Hagerstown.
Born December 19, 1937, in Highfield, MD, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Viola K. (Sanders) Gladhill.
She graduated from Smithsburg High School with the class of 1957.
She married Ray L. Kuhn, Jr. on February 26, 1969.
She was a member of the American Legion Post#239 Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Michael W. Shindledecker, Waynesboro, Anthony S. Shindledecker, Waynesboro, Terry L. Kuhn, Germany, Gary L. Kuhn, Waynesboro; eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Berlene P. Toms; a brother, Charles R. Gladhill; and sisters, Patricia M. Stover, Beverly Forsyth, and Karen E. Buzzard.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
