Mrs. Sherry L. (Nolan) LaCasse, 64, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away, Sunday, October 20, 2024, in the Chambersburg hospital, Chambersburg, PA.
Born June 13, 1960, in Baltimore MD, she was the daughter of the late Herald R. and Laura (Smith) Nolan.
She and her husband, Stephen L. LaCasse were married June 17, 1978, in Hagerstown, MD.
A devoted wife and mother, Sherry spent her life as a homemaker taking care of her children.
Sherry was a Christian woman who was strong in her faith. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and talking with them on the phone when she couldn’t.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five children, Amber Moxley of Hagerstown, MD, Leah LaCasse of Chambersburg, Jacob LaCasse of Chambersburg, Hannah LaCasse of Waynesboro, and James LaCasse of Andover Kansas; 8 grandchildren, Nichole LaCasse, Brianna Walls, Miriam LaCasse, Aaron LaCasse, Elincia Miller, Ryujin LaCasse, RJ Moxley, and Van Moxley; 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bobby Nolan of Shippensburg, PA and Randy Nolan; and one sister, Linda Shaffer of Tomstown, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.
