Mrs. Rosalie P. Mason Pinto, 82, of Hagerstown, died late Thursday afternoon, August 11, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.


She was the wife of Mr. Mike Pinto, Jr., her husband of 64 years.


Born April 15, 1929, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Emmert and Rosalie Mason.






She was of the Catholic faith.






Mrs. Pinto worked in her early years for S.S. Kresges Department Store, Washington, DC; and later for Coss Welding Supply, Inc., Hagerstown.


She was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks 378, Order of the Moose, both of Hagerstown, and Red Men Tribe 84, Williamsport.


Surviving besides her husband is her daughter, Patty A. Reinmuth of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Tina, Michael and Jeannie Pinto, Carlyn Brown and Jean Reinmuth; several great grandchildren including Mia Reinmuth, and Emma and Olivia Brown; her niece Shirley Higgs and husband James of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; and her loyal and devoted companion “Dylan”.


Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mike Pinto, III; and siblings Emmert Mason, Jr., and Dixie Geigan.


The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.


There will not be calling at the funeral home.


Services will be at the convenience of the family.
