Ronald E. Wagaman, 90, of Quail Run Drive, Waynesboro, PA passed away peacefully December 31, 2024, under the care of hospice at Doey’s House, Hagerstown, MD.

Born March 26, 1934 in Quincy, PA, he was the son of the late Ambrose S. and Winifred H. Wagaman.

He was married 62 years to his beloved wife JoAnn who passed away December 28, 2017 and who he dearly missed. They were married September 10, 1955 in Waynesboro, PA.

He served 8 years from 1952 to 1960 as rank of Sergeant with Troop G Second Reconnaissance Squadron 104th Armored Cavalry Division with the Army National Guard of Pennsylvania and as a Reserve of the U.S. Army.

Ronnie as he was known was a proud devoted loving husband, father, grandfather and soon to be great grandfather. He was a hard worker and dedicated provider and enjoyed time spent with his family, attending his son and grandsons baseball games also participating in and attending horse shows from Pennsylvania to Tennessee. Ronnie had a deep passion for horses, dogs and everything automotive.

He and his wife owned multiple businesses throughout the years such as Ron Wagaman’s Auto Sales, J & R Auto Sales, Shockey’s Body Shop, Waynesboro Auto Body & Glass, all in Waynesboro, PA. Along with the famed Tennessee Walking Horse Training and Sales Facility known as Broadway Stables located in Broadway, VA. He lived a very full and rewarding life!

Ronnie is survived by 2 children, a son, Ronald B. and wife Janet R. Wagaman of Waynesboro, PA and a daughter, Kim I. Wagaman and son-in-law Kenneth E. Bouch of Waynesboro, PA; a grandson, Nick E. and wife Laura LeBlanc Wagaman and soon to arrive great grandson Brooks A. Wagaman of Wendell, NC; a sister, Lois Twigg of Crossville, TN; along with a number of nieces and nephews.

There will be no public memorial service or burial. It was the wishes of Ronnie to have a private memorial service and burial at the convenience of his immediate family members.
