Robert "Sonny" Burke, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on January 6, 1943. He was married to Mildred E. Burke for almost 62 years.
Sonny attended James Buchanan High School in Mercersburg. He worked at Mack Truck for over 25 years in Hagerstown, MD. He is survived by his wife, his daughters Kyra A. Leon Utrera and Karena L. Cash. His son Robert V. Burke. Grandsons Anthony W. Barnett and Elias Burke and his granddaughter Natalia Leon Utrera. He was also survived by his sister Carolyn Cuff and his nieces Shelly Cuff, Missy Danzberger, Tina Riley, Cindy Burke and nephews Tracy Cuff, Greg Riley and Terry Burke.
Sonny was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Funeral arrangements will be held on March 15th, 2025 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Waynesboro, PA
