Robert L. “Bob” Cline, age 84, of Fayetteville, PA, Passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Mercy House. Born March 26, 1940, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary Anderson Cline.

Bob attended Boonsboro High School, where he was a member of the Class of 1958. Bob worked as a self-employed auto body mechanic for over 40 years, retiring in 2020. He enjoyed dirt track racing, hunting in Potter County, fishing, sitting on his deck watching the wildlife, riding his motorcycle, and hanging out at the local gas station with his buddies.

Surviving is his companion of 40 years, Karen Artman of Fayetteville, PA; a son, Robert L. Cline; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Judy Harness (husband George), Richard, Michael, and Larry Cline. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Richard Cline, Sr. and Rodney Cline and three siblings, Eloise Mann, Merle Anderson, and Kenneth Cline.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 1 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 6 – 8 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
