Robert Heath “Bob” Williams, age 75 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on July 26, 2024, at his home of complications related to end stage kidney disease. Born May 18, 1949, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Richard Bland Williams, Jr. and Thelma Cregger Williams.
Bob worked in at O.S.I. in Chambersburg, retiring in 2018 after over 30 years of service. Bob was a member of The Open Door Church, God’s Special One’s, ARC.
Surviving is a brother, Dr. Richard Williams (wife Karen) of Cockeysville, MD; nephew, Daniel Williams (wife Leslie) of Silver Spring, MD; and great-niece and nephew, Madeline and Bennett Williams. Bob is also survived by his dear friend and caregiver, Trudy Gossert of Chambersburg, PA, and her family. Bob loved coffee, McDonald’s, spaghetti, shopping, looking through magazines, watching TV, and visiting his brother. He loved to fish with Trudy’s family, going to carnivals, and concerts and ballgames at the park.
Graveside services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. Memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to Franklin-Fulton County MHMR and/or Franklin Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
