Robert "Bobby" McCleary, 71, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was born January 9, 1953, in Chambersburg, the son of the late Betty and Charles McCleary. Bobby was a fire police for The Fayetteville Fire Department for a number of years. He enjoyed playing golf and watching it on television as well as doing jigsaw and word search puzzles. Bobby volunteered at several food banks and was a member of the Salvation Army church. Robert is survived by his long time companion, Lorrie Boggs. He is preceded in death by his parents. His memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Salvation Army. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 159 Lincoln Way West, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
