Rita Brizzee, 86, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Saturday morning, May 25, 2024, in the Waynesboro Hospital.
Born June 17, 1937 in Cranesville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Frances (Anderson) Fisher.
Mrs. Brizzee was the CEO of the Waynesboro Hospital for many years and enjoyed volunteering many hours at the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Free Library, Waynesboro.
She is survived by her husband, David Brizzee; her children, Rose Ropp, MaryBeth Martin, Carl Christianson and Kerry Fechner; her step-children, Michael Brizzee and Michele Adair; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, F. Gene Fisher.
At her request, private graveside services will be held in Harbaugh Church Cemetery, Rouzerville, PA.
