Richard George Robinson, 66, was born April 10, 1948, to Paul Howard and Pearl Spickler Robinson, his late parents. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday afternoon, December 3, 2014, at Martinsburg VA Medical Center.
He enjoyed sports and hunting but nothing could surpass his pride of being a Marine. Upon graduation from Boonsboro High School in 1966, he joined the United States Marine Corp and served as corporal during the Vietnam War.
Surviving is his wife of 19 years, Barbara Jean Weisenburg Robinson, his children, Rebecca Robinson Nunnalley, James Paul Robinson, and Randall Z. Henry, Jr.; four grandchildren; siblings Edward Paul Robinson, and Shirley Ann Robinson Beard; as well as several nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Eugene Robinson.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements. A private graveside service will be at the convenience of the family.
