Richard E. “Richie” Cook, 65, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 in his home. Born October 9, 1958 in Chambersburg, he was the son of Richard O. and Doris J. (Mull) Cook.
Richie loved going to yard sales, drag racing, having cookouts with his family, and classic cars. He also enjoyed working on cars naming him the family “Fayetteville Mechanic”.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his life partner Cathy Carbaugh; daughter, Shannon Pensinger and her significant other Cory; two grandchildren, Brianna Bender and Trenton Hockenberry; a brother, Jeff Cook (Tina); four sisters, Kathy Myers (John), Teresa Cook, Lisa Thomas (Danny), Stacy Carbaugh (Joe); and a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two nephews, Justin Myers and Garrett Cook.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date
