Ralph Gerald Wolfinger, Jr., age 55, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born in Hagerstown, MD on August 13, 1970, he was the son of Rose Jordan Kennedy and the late Ralph G. Wolfinger, Sr.
Mr. Wolfinger worked as a truck driver, lastly for Proctor and Gamble. He enjoyed car racing, motorcycles, models, mechanical work, fishing, and splitting firewood.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jennie Denton Wolfinger, two step children, Luke Carbaugh of Martinsburg, WV and Desert Frye (husband Adam) of Hedgesville, WV; numerous grandchildren; a brother, Robert Wolfinger (wife Shelly) of St. Thomas, PA; two step brothers, Roy Wolfinger of Williamsport, MD and Jesse Bowers, of GA. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Jordan and paternal grandmother, Anna Wolfinger.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at 1 PM in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Inc., 45 S. Carlisle St., Greencastle, PA 17225, where Pastor David Rawley will officiate. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service in the funeral home.
