Rachael Ann (Geesaman) Henicle, 43, of Lemoyne, passed away on May 29, 2026, after a courageous year living with cancer.
Born January 12, 1983, in Göppingen, Germany, she was the daughter of Harry Geesaman and Gina Tyson-Geesaman.
Rachael was a graduate of Waynesboro High School, class of 2001. Following her graduation, she attended and graduated Millersville University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science in 2004. Following graduation, Rachael worked as a paralegal in Towson, MD. Rachael married Byron Henicle, her high school sweetheart, on September 1, 2007. Rachael and Byron lived in Baltimore, MD and Portland, OR before returning to Pennsylvania in 2022.
Rachael was a loving mother who absolutely adored her two boys. Her kind, genuine nature made everyone who knew her feel special. She exuded positivity until her final days, and her memory lives on in all who knew her.
Rachael’s interests included gardening, puzzles, board games, doting on her precious boys, cooking, travelling, and the great outdoors. Above all she most enjoyed nesting in her home, or home away from home, at a campsite.
In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is survived by her two sons, Jack and Lucas, and her brother Kyle Geesaman, all of whom adored her.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 5, 2026, at Red Run Park in Waynesboro, PA with family and friends.
