Mr. Paul R. Gingrich, 93, of Blue Ridge Summit, PA, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025.
Born April 23, 1932 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late G. Nelson and Mary (Rinehart) Gingrich.
Mr. Gingrich was a graduate of Waynesboro High School with Class of 1950. He then went on to receive an Associate’s Degree from Hagerstown Junior College, his Bachelor of Science from Juniata College and his Master’s degree from University of Illinois.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
A lifelong teacher, Mr. Gingrich taught mathematics at Waynesboro High School for 31 years, retiring in 1987 and later at Penn State, Mont Alto for 9 years.
Mr. Gingrich is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Glenn and Charles Gingrich; and one sister, Anna Mary Rosenberger.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family with burial in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
