Mr. Paul Junior Dice, 90, of Marion, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday afternoon, July 25, 2017, at Chambersburg Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mrs. Hazel V. Crider Dice, who preceded him in death on July 16, 2009.
Born July 24, 1927, in St. Thomas, he was a son of the late Paul M. and Stella M. Shatzer Dice. He was a veteran of the United States Army who served in the Korean War.
Paul was a longtime member of Marion First United Methodist Church where he participated in the Men’s Bible Class. He was also a lifetime member of Marion Volunteer Fire Company.
He was the last of his family. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, John W. Dice in 1961, and Tom E. Dice in 1992; as well as by his siblings, Harold and Hilda Dice, Helen Ommert, and Mary Jane Stickel.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements. There will not be visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 31, 10:00 AM, at St. Thomas Cemetery, with his pastor, Rev. Brent A. Stouffer, officiating.
