Patsy Bonnita Bivens, age 83, passed away September 15, 2024, at the Chambersburg Hospital. She was born October 3, 1940, in Greencastle, PA, to Bessie and George Fetterhoff. She married Richard Leroy Bivens on January 1, 1960, who preceded her in death in 1963. Patsy loved doing for others, especially during her time as a part-time activities coordinator at The Shook Home. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, known for her kindness, generosity, and love of cooking and sports, especially golf and The Olympics. Patsy was an avid needle worker, frequently knitting things for family members. She was a long-time employee of Dennis E. Black Engineering, formerly Arrowood Inc. Patsy is survived by her son, Kent E. Bivens; nieces, Connie (Dennis) Shively; Trudy (Curt) Secrest; nephews, Ryan and Todd Fetterhoff; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved and touched deeply. Patsy was preceded in death by husband, Richard Leroy Bivens; son, Brett Lee Bivens; brothers, George Donald Fetterhoff, Lindy Eugene Fetterhoff, Richard Theodore Fetterhoff, and Kenneth Todd Fetterhoff; sisters, Peggy Fetterhoff and Lenna Louise Hambright (née Frank); and nephew, Ricky Fetterhoff.
