Paige Elizabeth Benchoff 63, of Waynesboro, Pa went to Heaven July 24, 2026, in Boonsboro, MD.
Paige was born on October 9, 1962, in Altoona, Pa. She was the daughter of Betty V. Gardner and John F. Benchoff.
She graduated Waynesboro Senior High School with the amazing Class of 1980 in Waynesboro, PA. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Troy University.
She had many professional roles throughout her career. Some of those included head of the W house in Hagerstown, drug and alcohol counselor, caregiver, and many others.
Paige had a colorful life where she marched to the beat of her own drum. Being a mother and grandmother were her biggest accomplishments. She loved cooking, music (Led zeppelin), tv (Chicago Pd), animals, and laughing! To know Paige was to love her. Her wisdom, experiences, and adventures made for great conversation. Her unconditional, unwavering, non-judgmental love will live on forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah D (Zimmerman) Byrd; her grandson, King U Benchoff Byrd (Natalie); her granddaughter, Dynasty A. Benchoff; one sister, Cynthia Hess (Robert); and many other cousins and friends.
Paige is preceded in death by her mother, Betty, her father, John, and her nephew, Jonathan R. Hess.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
