Mr. Nelson C. Clever, 77, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024, in Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, Chambersburg, PA.
Born January 18, 1947, in Mercersburg, PA, he was the son of the late Harry and Mary (Blair) Clever.
He was employed at Brant’s cabinets in Hagerstown, MD where he worked as a cabinet finisher for many years.
Nelson attended church at Faith Temple in Cearfoss, MD. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting.
He is survived by his five daughters, Cathy, Peggy, Carrie, Becky, and Melody: five grandchildren, and a brother, Earl Clever.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Ruth Ann Wallech, William Clever, Betty Sustak, Preston Clever, and Edna Mesner.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday June 1, 2024, at Welsh Run Brethren Church Cemetery, 11420 Welsh Run Road, Mercersburg with Pastor Robert Robinson officiating.
Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, Greencastle, is handling the arrangements.
