Mrs. Nancy Lee Forsythe Rauth, 77, of Hagerstown, died early Tuesday morning, February 28, 2023, at Doey’s House, Hospice of Washington County, Hagerstown. She was the wife of Mr. David Wayne Rauth, her husband of 40 years.
Born February 27, 1946, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Maurice Elwood and Beulah Mae Penwell Forsythe.
She previously worked with Weis Market, Hagerstown, and Hagerstown Leather.
Mrs. Rauth was protestant by faith.
She enjoyed watching television gameshows with her husband, especially “Let’s Make A Deal” and “The Price Is Right.” She had been an avid bowler with area leagues bowling duckpins.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Rauth is survived by her daughters Melinda White of Hagerstown, and Tracy Gall and fiancé Dale Trotter of Falling Waters, West Virginia; grandchildren Brandie Socks and her fiancé of Hagerstown, and Tyler Gall and his wife of Downsville; and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Eugene Samuel Forsythe.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Inc., is assisting the family with arrangements. Services are private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Rauth’s name to Hospice of Washington County to benefit Doey’s House, 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
