Mr. Minor Martin Plum, 82, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Shook Home in Chambersburg.

Born July 30, 1943, in Upton, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Isabelle (Martin) Plum.

Minor was a graduate of LeMasters High School. He spent more than 38 years working at Sunnyway in Greencastle, where he was known for his dedication on the night shift, handling maintenance work and stocking shelves with quiet reliability. He later worked for several years at Sheetz in Greencastle. Through his work and daily life, he became a familiar and well-liked presence in the community, forming many lasting friendships.

He had a remarkable memory, especially when it came to dates. Whether remembering the birthdays of family and friends or recalling details others might overlook, it was a gift that set him apart. He also had a deep love for country music and enjoyed sharing his knowledge, often recalling the lives and timelines of artists like Hank Williams. Minor found great joy in attending the Franklin County Fair, the Frederick County Fair, and even the Grand Ole Opry, where he listened to favorites such as Conway Twitty and Porter Wagoner.

Minor was a dedicated and hardworking man who rarely took time away from his responsibilities. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his quiet nature, and the simple but meaningful ways he connected with others.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers, including his twin brother, Mynard, who passed away in 1990. Minor was the last of his immediate family.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 30, 2026, in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, in the old section on the south side of the road, with Pastor Ronnie Martin, Sr. officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, Greencastle. Online condolences may be expressed at www.bowersoxfuneralhomes.com.
