Mr. Michael G. Small, 68, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 6, 2026.
Born August 24, 1957 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Glenn N. and Patricia J. (Moritz) Small.
He was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1975.
A dedicated employee of Grove Manufacturing, Mike retired in 2020 after 30 years of service.
He was active in the community, coaching little league baseball & Waynesboro Indian football. He also worked with the Franklin County Special Olympics & was a member of the Waynesboro Jaycees.
He is survived by two children, Shane Small and his wife, Brandi of Waynesboro and Amber Peck and her husband, Kevin of Greencastle; four grandchildren; one brother, Gregory A. Small and his wife Jill of Waynesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews as well a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by one brother, Jeffrey L. Small.
Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any local youth sports organization of one’s choosing or the Waynesboro High School Booster Club.
