Mary, “Mary Kate”, (Faust) Henry, 95, passed away on June 23, 2026, at Cross Keys Village, New Oxford PA. She was born on May 17, 1931, in Greencastle, PA, the daughter of the late Anna (Bear) and David Raymond Faust.
She was a member of Hanover Church of the Brethren and a 1950 graduate of Chambersburg Senior High School. Over the years, she worked at Hershey’s Creamery, Stanley Co., and Fayetteville Elementary School (cafeteria), Lovable Lambs Day Care, and volunteered at various area nursing homes. Mary Kate enjoyed knitting, crocheting, ceramics, cooking, and spending time with her family & friends. She was a devoted mother, grandma, & great grandma.
She is survived by two daughters; Linda Duerr, wife of Duane Duerr, Cindy Bollinger, wife of Paul Bollinger, two grandsons; Marc Duerr, husband of Elysia Duerr, and Justin Duerr, husband of Amanda Katz-Duerr, and a great grandson; Franklin Duerr.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Maynard E. Henry Jr., four sisters and three brothers.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Sellers Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA, with Rev. Michael Faust officiating. Interment will be in Parklawn Cemetery, Chambersburg PA.
