Mr. Marvin Sheldon Mann, Sr., 92, of Hagerstown, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown.  He was the husband of the late Betty Lee Mann, his wife of 59 who preceded him in death on June 14, 2011.

Born July 18, 1923, in Keyser, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Espy Austin and Laura Louise Weiss Mann.  He graduated from Hancock High School; and served in the United States Army during World War II.

Mr. Mann worked for Mack Trucks, Inc., Hagerstown.

He was a member of Holy Trinity United Church of Christ, Hagerstown; and volunteered with Hospice of Washington County and Meritus Medical Center in the Medical Library.  Formerly, he volunteered with the John R. Marsh Cancer Center.

Surviving are his children, Marvin S. Mann, Jr. and wife Deborah of Penns Dale, Pennsylvania, and Mark T. Mann and wife Cheryl of Hagerstown; his grandchildren, Jason E. Mausteller and wife Jennifer, Katherine E. Mann, First Lt. Shane T. Mann and wife Chelsea, Rachel E. Clark and husband Chase, and Cayla A. Grimm; great grandchildren Dylan P. and Kensie L. Mausteller, and Camden T. Mann; and his brothers, Bruce, Melvin, Belvin and Larry Mann.

Besides his wife and parents, Marvin was preceded in death by siblings, Pauline Hixon and Albert Mann.

The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, on Wednesday, March 9, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  The funeral service will be on Thursday, March 10, at 11:00 AM, at Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown.  The Rev. Curtis King will officiate.  Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
