Marsha Ann Cline-Broadwater, beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. At the age of 72, she was surrounded by her loving family at Doey’s house in Hagerstown, MD.
Born on June 25, 1953, Marsha was the daughter of Charles S. Cline and Joan C. Arbogast. She grew up in Cumberland, MD and graduated from Fort Hill High School. Marsha continued her education by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant and a
Teachers Aid. Marsha excelled in each job she had including a personal shopper at Hoffman’s clothiers and Assistant Manager at Jockey. Marsha enjoyed her time assisting customers finding the perfect fit for their needs.
Throughout her life Marsha was a source of love and support to her family and friends. She had two daughters Brigitte Mowen, Husband Robert Mowen and Brooke Broadwater, Partner Robert Smith. Her most important job in life was raising her two beautiful daughters.
Marsha had a passion for cooking, knitting, walking in nature and taking care of her kitties, which she enjoyed with great enthusiasm. Marsha loved animals and rescued them all throughout her life. In addition to caring for her own animals, Marsha volunteered at the Humane Society. She was known for her hilarious personality and her loyal, caring heart which will
always be remembered by those who know her best.
In addition to her two daughters, Marsha is survived by three grandchildren, Shiloh Broadwater, Ava Broadwater and Benjamin Mowen. Many other relatives and friends were touched by her warmth and loyalty to those she loved.
To honor Marsha’s wishes, she will be cremated. The family will host a celebration of life in June 2026 to cherish the memories they had with Marsha.
In lieu of flowers, the family will accept charity donations that will go towards the cost of her cremation and end of life affairs.
