Marion M. Halgash, 77, of Hagerstown, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Reeders Memorial Home, Boonsboro, Md.

She was the wife of Michael Halgash Jr., her devoted husband of 54 years.

Born March 18, 1935, in Clear Spring, Md., she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Violet Henson Clopper.

She attended Clear Spring High School.

She is survived by a son, Michael Halgash III, his wife, Magda, of Falling Waters, W.Va., and her son, Michael Rock, of Alexandria, Va. She is also survived by a brother, Kenneth Clopper, and his wife, Cora, of Clear Spring; brother-in-law, Roger Howell of Big Pool, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey Clopper; and a sister, Judith Howell.

The funeral service will be Thursday, June 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 E. Antietam St., Hagerstown, Md. The Rev. Terri S. Cofiell will officiate. Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
