Mrs. Margaret I. Hinman, 92, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown. She was the wife of the late Samuel James Hinman, who preceded her in death in 1972.
Born June 2, 1920, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of Thomas Bernard and Mary Alice Hollinger Spickler.
Mrs. Hinman attended Shiloh United Methodist Church.
Surviving is her daughter with whom she resided, Patricia A. Eyler, of Hagerstown; as well as seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Donna R. Barnhart; as well as siblings David Woodrow Spickler, Thelma P. Carpenter, William E. Spickler, Mildred I. Hull; and two great-grandchildren.
The Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, Hagerstown, is handling the arrangements. There will not be viewing or visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held Friday, March 29, 1:00 PM, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 West Washington Street, Hagerstown. Her pastor, Rev. Dr. Kenneth J. Fizer, Jr., will officiate.
