Mrs. Lynnette S. “Suzy” Sease, 61, of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, in her home.
Born February 4, 1963, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Lynn Bitner.
She was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School with the Class of 1982.
She was a longtime employee of the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter and the Disney Store.
She was a member of Chincoteague Legacy Group. She had a passion for antique cars and collecting Barbie memorabilia. Her love of animals led her to start Coonie Day in Pennsylvania, an annual event to honor rescued coonhounds.
She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Brian E. Sease, whom she married November 23, 1984, and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 P.M., Friday, November 1, 2024, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
