Mr. Lowell D. Ezersky, 79, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Monday, March 23, 2026 in Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital.
Born January 18, 1947 in Kearney, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Charles W. and Mavis J. (Sigel) Ezersky.
Mr. Ezersky served in the United States Army as a Private First Class during the Vietnam Era from August 11, 1969 until his honorable discharge on February 3, 1970.
He was employed as a training specialist by the Federal Emergency Management Agency until his retirement in July of 2011. He was especially proud of his work developing the master exercise practitioner program (MEP) where he traveled extensively in the United States and abroad
Mr. Ezersky is survived by his life partner, Rhonda P. McFarland, of Waynesboro; brother, James N. Ezersky (Gail) of Guthrie, OK; sister, Dr. Lynne A. Holz of Lenexa, KS; and a number of nieces and nephews including: niece, Jaime Kovar (Johnny) of Burleson, TX, nephew, David Ezersky (Laura) of Edmond, OK and niece, Teresa Loftis (Caleb) of Corsicana, TX as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Friday, March 27, 2026 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St. Waynesboro, PA. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
