Mrs. Lorena M. “Lori” (Stine) Newcomer, 62, of Waynesboro, passed away Monday, October 13, 2025 in Meritus Medical Center.
Born August 2, 1963 in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of George Stine of Waynesboro and the late Ellen (Cook) Stine.
Lori was a graduate of Waynesboro Area Senior High School with the Class of 1981 and later received her Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Hagerstown Business College.
She was a longtime employee of First Data. After her retirement, she devoted much of her time to caring for her father and husband.
Lori was a member of Otterbein Church where she served as the leader for short term mission trips.
In addition to her father, Lori leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Paul W. Newcomer, who she married May 1, 1982; son, Anthony Newcomer of Waynesboro; brother, Frank Stine and his wife of Waynesboro; and nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family and friends.
A service to honor Lori’s life will be held at 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 29, 2025 in Otterbein Church, 912 S. Potomac St., Waynesboro where the family will receive friends beginning at 5:00 P.M.
