Lloyd Eugene Monn, 68, of Fayetteville, PA passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024, peacefully at the Chambersburg Hospital surrounded by loved ones. Born February 13, 1956, in Chambersburg, PA. He was the son of the late James David Monn and Arvilla M. (Rock) Monn. Lloyd was an avid hunter, gardener, outdoorsman and a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also loved going to local festivals, playing cards, and cooking. He enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters Willow Mae Monn, McKenna Ann Condran, as well as his family. He is preceded in death by his son Zachary E. Monn, two brothers, Terry and Mike Monn, and two sisters Marlene Powell and Dorrine Fickes. He is survived by his loving wife Marcey M. (Frey) Monn, his son Tyler E. Monn, his daughter Michelle Platzner, his brother John D. Monn (Peggy), his four sisters Erma Stahl (Jim), Mary Lou Rock (Joe), Alice Addlesberger (Jerry), and Beverly Webster (Frank); and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held at 9 am, Saturday, September 28, 2024, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 50 Ragged Edge Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Services will be from 11 am-12 pm. To follow, Lloyd will be laid to rest at the Quincy Cemetery, 6500 Cemetery Road, Quincy, PA 17247.
