Mrs. Linda Kay Rowe, 80, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Glade Valley, Walkersville, MD.
Born January 22, 1946, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard A. Peck and Mary Elizabeth (Wolford) Peck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Gary A. Peck and Kimberly A. Pett. She is survived by her sister, Gloria A. Young of Frederick, MD.
Linda married Harvey Daniel “Danny” Harbaugh on February 27, 1962. Together they had five children: Brian C. Harbaugh (Carla), Pamela S. Harbaugh (James), Keith E. Harbaugh (Nicole), Kevin V. Harbaugh (Stephanie), and Dwayne A. Harbaugh (Laura). Danny passed away March 26, 2003.
She later married Ronald Eugene Rowe on May 18, 2008. He passed away February 17, 2022.
Linda was blessed with 15 grandchildren: Stephanie, Jennifer, Danny, Sabrina, Brittany (deceased), Kevin Jr., Amber, Kolbey, Devon, Chad, Shayna, Jordan, Riley, and Cameron; and 12 great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Bayleigh, Adam, Kinsleigh, Averie, David, Brantley, Kolt, Oakleigh, Everly, Grace, and Rhettlee.
If you met Linda, you knew a few things immediately: she had five children, fifteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and she loved the Lord Jesus Christ. When Linda preached a funeral, her first comments were always, “We can’t do anything for the person in the casket. They are dead. This is about the living!”
Linda believed our lives are to bring glory and honor to our Savior, Jesus Christ, and she would want her death to do the same. For the last 37 years, she preached the Word of God through radio, conferences, and by witnessing to everyone she met. Her passion was to see every person saved, healed, and delivered, and for churches to unite to win the souls of our neighborhoods, states, country, and the world for the Lord Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 40:8 ~ The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever.
Take a moment to remember Linda, and in her honor, ask the Lord what your part is in bringing in the final harvest.
In lieu of flowers that will fade, if you would like to remember Linda with a memorial contribution, Linda would want and the family suggests donating to Fan the Fire Ministries International, P.O. Box 51, Hanover, PA 17331 or at www.fanthefireministries.com.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Monday, March 16, 2026, at Miller-Bowersox Funeral Home, 521 S. Washington Street, Greencastle, PA.
