Leroy T. Welsh, 75, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Monday March 3, 2025 at his home.
He was born on October 11, 1949 in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Willard Albert and Marion J. (Spears) Welsh.
He was the kind of guy who would cast a fishing line and reel in a big catch while still having the biggest smile on his face, no matter how many fish he actually caught. To him, it wasn’t about the fish; it was about peaceful moments by the water, the sound of the breeze, and the joy of just being outside. He even volunteered his boat and his time to take veterans fishing on the Susquehanna River, which he really enjoyed. He will be very missed by his loved ones.
He is survived by his significant other Belinda McKnight; daughter Crystal A. Wardlaw; son Jeremiah T. Welsh; sister Pamela Devotie; brother Lloyd Willard Welsh, Sr.; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jane Welsh who passed in 2003.
