Mrs. Lena Marie (Miller) Rock, 93, of Mont Alto, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026, surrounded by her family in her son’s home in Mont Alto.
Born March 6, 1932 in Mont Alto, she was the daughter of the late Lewis William and Sadie Pearl (Carbaugh) Miller. She lived most of her life in the Mont Alto area.
Lena graduated from Quincy High School with the Class of 1950.
She worked for over 32 years in the Waynesboro Area School District.
Lena enjoyed spending her evenings with her husband, Nelson, sitting on the porch talking to neighbors and passersby. She enjoyed attending the great-grandchildren’s sporting events and watching them play from her kitchen window. She looked forward to her Sunday afternoon drives with her family.
She is survived by three children, Kevin Rock and his wife, Debra of Mechanicsburg, PA, Carla Rock of Mont Alto and Todd Rock and his wife, Nancy of Mont Alto; five grandchildren, Christina Deiseroth, Jenelle Fortney, Josh Rock, Tyler Rock and Lindsey Czonstka; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Nelson W. Rock on July 16, 2022; and two brothers, Lawrence Miller and Glen Miller.
Services and burial in Mount Zion Cemetery, near Quincy, PA will be private at the convenience of the family.
