Miss Kathy L. “Judy” Patterson, 73, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026, in Laurel Lakes Rehab & Wellness Center, Chambersburg, PA.
Born May 11, 1953, in Waynesboro, she was the daughter of the late Clarence R. and Kathryn E. (Spidle) Patterson.
She graduated from Waynesboro Senior High School with the Class of 1971.
In her younger years, Mrs. Patterson worked at Connie’s Sports Wear, Waynesboro. She later worked for Quebecore World Printing, Fairfield, PA. She most recently worked at Ulta Beauty Distribution, Chambersburg.
Judy was known for her kindness, compassion, and willingness to care for others. She took on the task of taking care of her mother and later became a great mom and grandmother taking care of her own children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by one son, Kenneth “Ken” Patterson of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Gaven Baker, Dalton Patterson, and Kendall Patterson; two brothers, Lawrence “Gook” Patterson and Richard “Scruff” Patterson, both of Waynesboro; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman “June” Patterson, Sr., and Clarence R. “Bill” Patterson, Jr., and one sister, Brenda Patterson.
Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro is handling the arrangements.
