Mrs. June L. (Miller) Cline, 99, of Waynesboro, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, in her home.
Born June 6, 1925 in Greensburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Benjamin, Sr. and Thelma Susan (Bell) Miller.
Mrs. Cline was a graduate of Washington Township High School with the Class of 1943 and was the last surviving member of her class.
She and her husband, the late Lloyd J. Cline, were married May 2, 1946. Mr. Cline passed away June 10, 1995. Mrs. Cline had lived on Polktown Road for over 50 years, surrounded by extraordinary neighbors, who provided an unbelievable support system.
Mrs. Cline was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, knitting and puzzles. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who especially enjoyed her great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Wesley Chapel of Fairfield (PA).
Mrs. Cline is survived by one son, Craig H. Cline and his wife, Charmaine of Waynesboro; two granddaughters, Catherine H. Byers and her husband, Lucas of Waynesboro and Courtney H. Cline and her husband, Alan Rugh of Walkersville, MD; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Byers, Abby Byers, Mackenzie Rugh and Jamison Rugh; one brother, Lee Miller of Rouzerville, PA; several number of nieces and nephews; and her caregiver, Lori Schmidt.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Keller and Jane Rowe; and three brothers, George Benjamin Miller, Jr., Joseph T. Miller and Donald H. Miller.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Monday evening, January 6, 2025 in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA.
Private graveside services will be held in Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro.
