Mrs. Judith Ann (O’Toole) Schedler, 83, of Mont Alto, PA, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026, in Cedar Haven Healthcare Center, Lebanon, PA.

Born January 13, 1943 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. and Rachel Lucille (Sweger) O’Toole.

Mrs. Schedler was a graduate of St. Maria Goretti High School with the Class of 1960. She later attended St. Joseph School of Nursing in Lancaster, PA where she graduated in 1963.

She and her husband, Paul D. Schedler, were married September 3, 1966 in St. Andrew Catholic Church, Waynesboro.

Mrs. Schedler was a homemaker and had previously been employed as a nurse at the Waynesboro Hospital for several years.

She was a member of Corpus Christ Catholic Church, Chambersburg where she served with the Council of Catholic Women, on the Publicity committee, was in the Young at Heart Club and sang in the Resurrection Society. She also was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Society.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schedler is survived by two sons, Mark E. Schedler and his wife, Lisa of Alexandria, VA and Steven J. Schedler and his wife, Amy of Hershey, PA; two grandchildren, Levi J. Schedler and Madelyne R. Schedler; one sister, Nancy Joann Bowling of Enola, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Marie O’Toole who passed away in 1941.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 5, 2026 in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 12 N. Broad St., Waynesboro, PA with Rev. Christopher Onyeneke, MSSCC officiating. Burial will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery, Waynesboro.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Tuesday morning, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
