Mrs. Joyce A. (Davenport) Rosenberger, 93, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Mercy House, Chambersburg, PA.

Born August 4, 1932 in Chelan, WA, she was the daughter of the late Herman Davenport and Anna Jeffries.

Mrs. Rosenberger graduated from Auburn High School (WA) with the Class of 1950.

She and her husband, the late Herbert L. Rosenberger, were married on August 14, 1950. They were together for 70 years when he passed away on November 2, 2020.

Mrs. Rosenberger worked as a production clerk at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA, for over 20 years. She also owned and ran Rosenberger Cake Decorating out of her house for over 30 years.

She was a longtime member of Waynesboro Grace. She later became a member of Grace Brethren in Chambersburg and was currently a member at Ebenezer United Brethren Church, Greencastle, PA.

Mrs. Rosenberger enjoyed camping, knitting, crocheting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Terry L. Rosenberger of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Sandra L. Colon and her husband, Eddie of Chambersburg and Joel L. Rosenberger and his wife, Connie of Phoenix, AZ; five grandchildren, Benjamin Colon, Amanda Colon, Ryan Rosenberger, Bailey Rosenberger, and Maci Rosenberger; six great-grandchildren, Madison, Isiah, Peyton, Aliyah, Kamdyn, and Jada; one great-great-grandson, Roman; one sister, Lucille Kirchner of Washington state; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Chrisman and Virginia Carpenter; and one brother, David Davenport.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 7, 2026 in Ebenezer United Brethren Church, 3661 Williamson Road, Greencastle, PA with Pastor John Lance officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services, Friday morning, in the church.

Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, PA is handling the arrangements.
