Mrs. Josephine V. Sprankle Miller, 99, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Golden Living Center, Hagerstown.  She was the wife of the late Clyde Roscoe Sprankle and the late Charles Franklin Miller.


Born December 25, 1914, in Hagerstown, she was a daughter of the late Tyson Thomas and Rose Viola Coffman Hardt.


Mrs. Miller was employed with the Peoples Drug Store, Downtown Hagerstown.


She was a member of the former Bethel Assembly of God.


Surviving is her daughter, Sandra S. Rainbow and husband Paul of Keedysville; her grandchildren, Paul A., Noah M. and Aubrey A. Rainbow; her great grandson Micah J. Rainbow: and her niece, Shirley D. Voss.


Besides her spouses and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Darlene Hardt.


The family will receive friends at Andrew K. Coffman Funeral Home, 40 East Antietam Street, Hagerstown, on Monday, December 29, beginning at 10:00 AM.  A funeral service will being at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Mike Simane will officiate.  Interment will follow in Broadfording Church Cemetery.
