Mr. Joseph Shaughnessy, 54, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2025, in Waynesboro hospital.
Born July 14, 1971, in Bankok, Thailand, he is the son of the late Thomas D. and Nopamard Shaughnessy.
Mr. Shaughnessy worked in the warehouse at Fedex, Hagerstown, MD.
He was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan and enjoyed watching his favorite player, Troy Aikman. He also enjoyed and was quite good at throwing darts in different leagues.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his long-time companion, Sandy Brake of Waynesboro, as well as an extended host of loving friends whom he cared deeply for.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at a date to be announced in January 2026 at his second home, Gus & Teds Tavern, 26 S. Potomac St, Waynesboro.
