Mr. Joseph Jesse Donovan, 45, of Hagerstown, died Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at his residence. He was the husband of Mrs. Taylor Allison Hale Donovan, his wife of over a year.
Born March 19, 1974, in Edmonds, Washington, he was the son of John Anthony Donovan of Nevada, and the late Carol Ann Kornheiser Donovan. He attended trade schools in the fields of welding and massage therapy.
Joseph lived in various states during his life and operated a tattoo studio in California.
He enjoyed science; was mechanically inclined and enjoyed automobiles; and was an avid Star Wars fan.
Surviving, besides his wife, are his children, Ethan Morgan Packard Donovan, and Tristian Joseph Jesse Donovan; and several friends including Jeffrey “Pops” Guyer and Bylyn Bozie, both of whom he regarded as parents, and Christopher Montgomery.
Besides his mother, Joseph was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Caitlin Emily Donovan, who died in May, 2003.
Services will be private.
