Mrs. Johnnie B. (Stevens) Kelly, 75, of Waynesboro, PA passed away Saturday evening, June 7, 2025, in her home, surrounded by her family.
Born July 31, 1949 in Coalburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ercel Stevens, Sr. and Leona (Carrico) Stevens. She lived her early life in the Frederick, MD area.
She and her husband of over 31 years, John E. Kelly, were married on October 6, 1993.
Johnnie worked at Leaders Nursing Home, Victor Cullen and Rosewood Center, Baltimore, MD. She retired in 2007.
She was a member of Fairview Ave. Brethren in Christ Church, Waynesboro. Johnnie was baptized on August 21, 1994. Besides her faith, her family was very important to her and she loved spending time in her garden, especially tending to her rose bushes.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Richard A. Flook (Jennifer), Kimberly S. Clopper (Doug) and Jaime R. Wease (Joshua), all of Waynesboro; seven grandchildren, Tylina Gordon, Tyler Clopper, Kelsie Shaffer, Hannah Flook, Jordan Flook, Gage Wease and Jenna Wease; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Darrell Stevens of Fairland, OK and Ercel Stevens, Jr. of Frederick, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Connie Stevens.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 A.M., Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in Burns Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, PA with Pastor John Walker officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M., Tuesday morning, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro.
