Mr. John O. Garnand, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2025 in Doey’s House.
Born October 4, 1944 in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of Gavin and Lois Garnand.
Mr. Garnand served in the United States Army from 1965-1967.
He was a longtime employee of Frick Co., Waynesboro.
Mr. Garnand is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mrs. Cindy M. (Huisman) Garnand; one son, Gary Garnand and his wife, Erin of Greencastle, PA; granddaughter, Farrah Garnand of Hagerstown; one brother, Gerald Garnand of Waynesboro; and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Garnand.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in Green Hill Cemetery, 953 S. Potomac St., Waynesboro where military graveside honors will be conducted by the Honor Guard of Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post # 1599, Chambersburg, PA.
Arrangements are by Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
